Harry and the Potters cast a musical spell over Chicago

Through seven books and eight movies, Harry Potter never mastered space travel—but Harry and the Potters – who graced The Leader’s last center spread – were totally out of this world when they played The Spaceship on April 6.

Brothers Paul and Joe DeGeorge brought their eclectic brand of wizard rock to Chicago, and The Leader was front row dancing like a herd of confused Hippogriffs. Special guest Ghost Cedric used double wands to jam on his Ghost Drums– with a refrain of “Bring my body back!”

Potter fans and punk rock kids brought more nerd than mosh to this DIY show, where muggles and wizards united to sing “Save Ginny Weasley.”

If you squint and move this page around a lot, you can pretend we have moving photographs just like The Daily Prophet! Sure, Wingardium Leviosa is a simple swish and flick, but singing along to cheesy lyrics can cast magic spells, too.
